Induction Award

This Award replaces the LDAF Induction and Foundation Units. It links directly to the Common Induction Standards and NVQ in Health and Social Care.

The qualification is available at levels 2 and 3.

The qualification consists of four units:

- Principles of learning disability support
- Your role as a learning disability worker
- Protecting people with a learning disability from abuse
- Health and Safety in a Learning Disability Service

Assessor Training - LDQ Induction Award

The day will cover all aspects of planning, marking, giving feedback and record keeping in relation to assessment for the LDQ Induction Award. Delegates will need to be experienced and/or qualified in supporting
people with learning disabilities.

Who for

This event is aimed at organisations who wish to have experienced staff trained as assessors for the LDQ Induction Award.

It is suitable for organisations who access the Induction Award through NOCN or City and Guilds.
