Current Awareness Service
Current Awareness Service (CAS) is a BILD service that keeps readers up to date with everything new in learning disabilities.
CAS lists new books and resources, journal articles, digital material and forthcoming courses.
Subscription covers a ring binder and twelve monthly inserts.
You can SAVE MONEY by downloading CAS as a pdf file each month from BILD's website. See eCAS below.

eCAS is the electronic version of Current Awareness Service.
Subscription provides a username and password to download current and back issues of eCAS from BILD's website.

CAS online
CAS online is a searchable database containing references to over 40,000 journal articles, books and pieces of research covering all aspects of learning disabilities. These are grouped into 150 topic categories and cover more than 20 years of publications. The database is added to monthly.
CAS online is particularly useful to students and researchers who need a reading list of material on a particular topic. Many of the articles listed can be obtained from BILD as a photocopy. See Photocopies for details of charges and conditions.
Access to CAS online is by annual subscription. Organisation subscription covers use by all staff within the organisation.
