Our mission is to help improve the quality of life of people with a learning disability by involving them and their families in all aspects of our work, working with government and public bodies to achieve full citizenship, undertaking beneficial research and development projects, and helping service providers to develop and share good practice.
BILD's quality commitment:
- We are committed to promoting good practice in services through the provision of high quality and best value information and training;
- All our trainers are experienced practitioners and experts in their field of learning disability;
- Where applicable we have mapped our training to the relevant LDAF or NVQ learning outcomes and assessment and accreditation opportunities are available to all learners;
- To enhance the learning experience and complement the learning materials we will make relevant BILD publications available for purchase as part of the event.
"I always feel confident that money spent on BILD conferences and training is well spent, speakers and trainers are excellent and I always take something useful away with me. Thanks!"
- delegate's comment, Valuing Good Autism Conference, 17 March 2006
